Southwest Port St. Lucie is the newest city: Verano and its PGA-designed golf community, Riverland's thousands of homes off Discovery Way, Tesoro on the Becker Road ridge, the Del Webb and Valencia communities, and the older 1990s–2000s streets along Gatlin Boulevard and Becker Road. My HOA is strict — what do you need to submit?

A sketch with dimensions, the finish and color, and usually a photo of the existing slab. We prepare the packet with the estimate; most southwest-PSL communities approve in two to four weeks.

Can I extend the lanai past the screen enclosure?

Yes — we pour the extension and the screen contractor moves or extends the enclosure afterward. We coordinate the order so the new slab is ready for the enclosure's footing.

Is a golf-cart pad allowed?

In the 55+ communities, usually yes, in a set location and finish. We check the guideline before we quote.

How thick should a pool deck be?

4 inches with fiber and wire, on a compacted base, with a textured or cool-deck finish so it stays walkable in August. We coordinate with the pool builder so the deck goes in at the right stage.

Do you pour in the summer?

Yes — trucks at first light, cure covers on immediately, joints cut the same day. It's fine if it's done right.
