A concrete company that understands sand, swales and salt

We started because Port St. Lucie's driveways and pool decks were being poured the same way as everywhere else, and the sand, the water and the salt were taking them apart.

Port St. Lucie is one of the fastest-growing cities in Florida, built on a grid of quarter-acre lots that drains through grass swales and sits on fine sand over a shallow water table. That combination is hard on concrete. Aprons poured over swales without pipes collapse; pool decks sink toward the shell; steel set too shallow rusts and pops the surface off in the salt air. Meanwhile most of the concrete work here is done by crews down from Orlando or up from West Palm who treat the swale like a curb and the sand like dirt.

Port St. Lucie Concrete Co. exists to be the local, technical option. We're a locally operated concrete contractor — not a franchise, not a lead-generation call center — that books and manages residential flatwork across St. Lucie and northern Martin County. The crews that pour for us are licensed and insured in Florida, know the city's right-of-way and swale rules and the HOA committees by name, and every job comes with a written, itemized price from a company with a 772 phone number.

What we stand on

Build for the sand

Compacted base, thickened edges, fiber plus steel set deep with full cover, slabs built up above the wet-season water line, and everything sloped to drain. It costs a little more than the builder's spec and lasts three times as long.

Handle the paperwork

City of Port St. Lucie building permits and right-of-way permits under our license, St. Lucie County permits where the address is unincorporated, and the modification-request packet your HOA needs.

Say the honest thing

If a cool-deck overlay will fix it, we won't sell you a new deck. If foam will lift it, we won't sell you a tear-out. If it's a foundation problem, we'll say it isn't our trade.
