Concrete work for Stuart and the St. Lucie River
Historic downtown lots, river homes in North River Shores and Sewall's Point, and the 1980s subdivisions off Kanner Highway — twenty-five minutes south of our shop.
Stuart is the Martin County seat and its oldest town, and its concrete tells the story: narrow 1920s–50s driveways in the historic district and along the river, tight lots where a truck barely fits, big live oaks with roots under everything, and river-front homes in North River Shores, Sewall's Point and along St. Lucie Boulevard where the salt air and a high water table both work on the concrete. South and west of downtown — Kanner Highway, Monterey, the Martin Downs side — are 1980s and 90s subdivisions with pool decks and driveways coming due together.
Stuart has its own building department inside the city limits and Martin County covers the rest; Sewall's Point is a separate town with its own permits and a strict tree ordinance. We work in all three and know which one your address falls under. Downtown work often needs a right-of-way permit and traffic control for the delivery truck; we build that into the schedule.

Questions from Stuart homeowners
Do I need a permit for a driveway in Stuart?
Inside the city limits, yes — a City of Stuart permit and a right-of-way permit if it meets the street. Martin County covers the unincorporated neighborhoods and Sewall's Point has its own. We handle all three.
Can you pour on a lot where a mixer can't get in?
Yes. Downtown and river lots often need a smaller truck, a line pump or a buggy pour; it adds a little to the price and it's in the written quote.
What does a driveway cost in Stuart?
$8 to $12 per square foot for a reinforced broom-finished driveway, a little more than Port St. Lucie because of access and demolition on the older lots; stamped $15 to $24.
Do you work in Sewall's Point?
Yes, with the town's permit and its tree rules. Root-zone work near the big oaks is hand-dug and often reviewed by an arborist.
